Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

2. Op Art Maggie is okay
3. Fake. Did you read the creed? It describes a leather bag. Note that the bag you received isn't leather!

If you know where to find the seller, you should demand a refund, if you paid by Paypal, file a dispute and report to Offer Up.

And if you still have the OfferUp info, please post the seller ID so others can be warned.

ETA: The fake is copying style 9363 but although the style number on the creed of the fake seems correct, there are other problems with the bag. This is one of the many reasons why we tell people that googling a style number or calling Coach with a serial number to authenticate a bag is dangerous!

thanks so much for response.you are so right thats also the same thing i was thinking leather when in fact its canvas.i was so disappointed really.. i met the guy who was a different person in ny from the one im talking in offerup.. saying he is the cousin.. i contacted both of them again and they did not respond anymore. i put a bad review but youre right, to warn others also.

FAKE!

I saved a picture from what I believe to be the exact same fake when it was listed by tinastiques some time ago. And in fact, vector77aqua(2243) was the buyer as indicated by the feedback vector77aqua left for the seller. Note that the feedback count is the same = same buyer.

It's authentic. It's not a basic. It's an Oliver #9902 made in the early 90s. Nice style!
