It's authentic, made in 1997.

We don't usually comment on price since it's subjective. An item is worth what a willing seller wants to sell for and a willing buyer will pay.

Thanks! I wasn't asking about pricing (the pricing seems pretty decent to me). I was curious if it was a good starter piece? I don't have any experience with this style and have never seen it in person. :)

LOL! I need more coffee! I read that as asking if it was a good starter PRICE!

As for starter piece, I'm not sure what you're looking for. If you're looking to rehab and are hoping for a job with novice ability, I can't help with that as I'm not much of a rehabber, especially compared to some of the experts here! OTOH, if the size works for you and you're happy with its storage, pockets, color, etc., yes, I think it's a good starter piece.

Could you post a photo of the entire inside pocket, edge to edge? There should be an unusual detail we need to see.

ANY time there's an unusual detail or strange stamp in a bag, please include it in your photos, otherwise we're going to have to ask for it. That includes style or construction details. Also for any bags with magnetic snaps that have stamping on them, we need a clear readable photo of the stamping. That's mentioned as a requirement in the READ ME post at the top of each page.

Nice! It's authentic. It's the harder to find long handled skinny flight bag. I don't know the style number as the only one I have catalog pictures of is the one with the shorter handles and longer strap. That one is 9706. This one was probably made in the 1980s.

Both are authentic. The court was made in 1996, the devon in 1995.
