I'm not comfortable with the seller, AtticVintageNY. For definitely authentic bags (or those the seller believes are authentic), she shows clear and legible pictures of creeds, yet for other items, creeds are either blurry or not shown.

This is a fake she has listed, apparently believing it to be genuine.

wow, thank you. I've been studying this and other Coach threads and this process is so hard to learn. You authenticators are shopping angels! Can I ask whether in general, those certificates of authentication on the goodwill site can be trusted, do you think? I also read some comments saying that a serif N in the "No." part of the creed is a red flag for fakes but have also seen a few OK'd bags with some serif Ns. not sure if it depends on the era it was made in? thank you so much again!

Several comments:
1. Can I ask whether in general, those certificates of authentication on the goodwill site can be trusted, do you think?
I've seen 2 companies' authentications used in various goodwill listings. I have records of errors (fake Coaches deemed authentic) by both companies but from those I've saved, I have more Entrupy errors.

There's no "rule" that applies to all. Coach uses both serifs fonts and sans serif. Whether it's correct or not depends on the bag, the era/year/plant. (The fakes also have serif and sans serif fonts so all other details of the bag need to be correct in order for the bag to be deemed authentic)
