Genuine Bridle Satchel actually made in 1999. You have one of the more unusual versions constructed only with calfskin. Coach had that version available in a few Bridle bag styles so that some of the styles from that line could still be sold in countries or areas where use of pigskin was forbidden for cultural or religious reasons.
Thanks for the additional information. I think that it is a beautiful bag (it cleaned up well). I will just look at it as I am afraid to carry it. It looks delicate.

hi, I love and collect vintage leather Coach. I like to buy the inexpensive ones on eBay that need a lot of TLC. I like to clean, moisturize and sometimes use leather dye the needed. I've had good luck buying 6 of them already but I think that arrived today is fake. The leather feels thinner and more floppy. Also the smell seems off. The creed is harder to read and seems more shallowly embossed. I've attached some pics and would love to hear what you all think:

I'm posting the listing but since I already purchased it, I don't know if the link is still visible to others:

It's authentic but I don't know the name of the style or style number.

I don't believe it's authentic. There are characteristics that are similar to other (close) fakes we've seen coming from Japanese and other Asian sellers.

ETA: If you bought it, return! If you didn't buy it, don't!

ETA #2: Please post a link to the online item and post the seller's selling ID.

I've bought the wallet believing its authentic. The seller went silent on me.

Thank you BeenBurned, I bought it and the seller went silent on me and deleted her post too. Pathetic way of earning other's money.

The leather is thinner and more floppy because this is part of the Lightweights collection. It's probably bucket bag 4075 made around 1989-1992.

Hello! Thrifty friend gave this to me after she attempted her first dye job. I believe it’s real leather, can anyone authenticate and know the style number? Creed is hard to read so I had to post a few pics.
measures 12x11.5x5.5”
TIA!!

Genuine. It looks like a Drawstring Sac, style 4015 from the Lightweight line and made in the late 1980s.
