The font used in the serial stamp definitely looks like the one used by the B plant in 1996.

If it's genuine, the Macy's receipt from 2001 definitely doesn't belong with that bag. I can't image Macy's selling a 5 year-old Coach at full price, and the description doesn't sound like a Coach bag. Hard to say whether or not the seller is trying to mislead potential buyers with it, but the receipt doesn't have any connection the bag from what I can see.

I was going to comment on the receipt.

Aside from the fact that Macy's wouldn't be selling a 5-year old bag in 2001, there's no question that the receipt doesn't belong to a Coach bag because the UPC code shown for the purchase is not a Coach number. (The "prefix" 85614 is not a Coach prefix.)

The listing doesn't have enough pictures to authenticate it but after looking through stylehavenofficial's. listings, her items appear to be outlet items but the strange yellow labels (on Coach and other brands) aren't outlet stickers. I'm not comfortable recommending them. I see too many red flags.

Even if the items are authentic, listings and pictures need improvement if she wants to prove authenticity.
