Please post a link to the online Filippino seller from whom you bought the bag.

If you search the Coach subforum here on TPF, you'll see that there are quite a few posts describing the number of close fakes coming out of the Philippines. The fakes are so close that generally, I recommend buying either directly from legitimate retailers or buying from trusted sellers in the US.

The details are often so close that elements we normally don't consider when authenticating are taken into account.

In this case, while I see other problems that can't be positively confirmed either way, there are problems with the price tag that make me believe that the bag is not authentic.

I can't and won't be more specific because the counterfeiters are already making fakes that are way too close and I refuse to help them do better!

Thank you Hyacinth. I wasn't sure as it's so much lighter on the inside compared to the Etsy one plus the external colour doesn't seem as rich. I bought it but I'm now wondering whether a dunk will remove more colour and it'll be a super faded bag? what do you think?

I'm not a rehab expert, maybe @whateve can answer your question. If you haven't found it yet, we also have a huge Rehab and Rescue thread in the main Coach forum where the rehabbers can offer plenty of advice.

Remember too that Coach doesn't use exactly the same color every year even if the name is the same. There's a surprisingly large range of color tones that share the same name, in current as well as vintage styles. "Red" is a great example. Owners of red vintage bags have posted photos of them here side by side and the range of shades covered by the word "red" and the differences among them are amazing. How a bag has been cared for, or NOT cared for, will also affect the color over time.

Hi there!

Would love to know if this is authentic

Seller: pvioleta1
Maggie small bucket bag?

Genuine, just "Maggie Duffle". It's British Tan even though it looks orange in the first photo.

Thank you all!
I have one more to verify today

9966 - Made in Mexico
Authenetic.

Remember to include seller ID in requests.

I was very certain about the J8Y, but didn't want to jump the gun before getting an absolute confirmation. Sadly, that's a lot of money for an unsuspecting buyer to spend on a useless POS bag. Will report & hope it gets removed. As always, thanks for your time & knowledge!
I reported it a few days ago, but it looks like it's still an active listing. UGH!! Why is it so difficult to get such listings removed???
