If you get the bag pictured in the listing, it is authentic. Sheridan bags didn't always have serial numbers. It's not from the 80s. It's from the early 90s. I'm not sure all those pictures belong to the seller.

Comments: I know the photos aren't great but I'm wondering if you see any red flags with this item. I'm really just looking for a large pouch to keep inside my Beaumont as a substitute pocket for my phone. This whole cubby hole locker at work and new ginormous phone are causing a lot of problems for me purse wise. I can't find a small enough yet big enough purse to fit in the locker at work and any small enough purses that I have don't fit my stupid phone in the back pocket (or any interior pocket) anymore. I put the phone in a chunky Otterbox case so now it seems like I need an Original Rambler just to use as a phone case. I am very unhappy. Ok, rant over. Sorry.

I don't see any problems with the stamping. It's genuine and exactly what it should be for a Soho Whitney made in that particular plant, month and year. Stamps can ONLY be compared to other stamps from exactly the same source.

It seems good to me but there isn't much to go on from the seller's photos.

While items can function as various items, I don't. think this pouch was intended as a tablet case. (I can't recall tablet cases being made as early as this item would have been and unlikely made in the US.)

You might want to double check the measurements against your item to make sure it'll fit. Based on the various sleeves I've had, they measure from 9.5" to 11" wide.
