Hello authenticators,

I purchased this Court bag from goodwill online and it came with an authenticity certificate.
It does feel like a Coach bag, but I did notice a hardware difference on the D rings on the sides.
This is my first made in Hungary bag, so I am not sure if these difference happen between plants.
Although, now that I am looking at the pictures, I am starting to feel like these are just indentations from poor storage?
Thank you so much of your time and expertise.

It's fine and Entrupy got it right this time.

But it's recommended to have any Entrupy-authenticated item verified.

Could somebody please look at this bag. I have either bought a very good knockoff or it's an bargain authentic one. I love it anyway but would love the opinions of the forum. Do counterfeiters put the target stamps on the creed? Any help would be greatly appreciated TIA xx

Welcome!

Remember to put the seller ID and item number into requests as well as link. When listings are ended, ebay sometimes redirects to a different item and we want to make sure we're seeing the intended listing.

The bag is authentic, made in 2004.

The outlet bullet has been seen on fakes. It's been unclear whether the counterfeiters have used it or if fakes have been returned to Coach and Coach did it, not realizing they were marking a fake but yes, it's been seen.

ETA: here's one example of a bullet stamp on a creed from a fake:

Hi there - suspicious about the authenticity of a Coach Soho Sling style 4160 I purchased off of Poshmark. I'm new to buying vintage Coach but the quality of leather upon receipt made me look at the purse further. Concerns: the snap on the top appears to be losing its color (from gold to a more silver), the brass fasteners are stamped "Solid Brass" (which I read could be authentic but only for specific years/factories), there's a silver stamp behind the flap, the creed style looks slightly different than others I've seen, I can't see any of the horizontal lines in the leather from the serial stamp, and the zipper pull on the inside matches the one outside, where others look to be more of the chain-style pull on the interior. Phew sorry that's a lot. Please help!

We've seen those indentations on some D rings. At one point, some people thought it was done on purpose, after market. It was probably done by carrying heavy loads. There was a discussion about it in the rehab club a few months ago.

You're right, it's fake.
Sigh...I guess this is how we learn. So irritating! Thanks for the reply.
You don't have to eat the loss. Let the seller know you want to return because she broke the law in selling a counterfeit item. I don't know how the return/refund policy works on Poshmark but you should fight this.

Is this the listing from yeraldin540?

ETA: Be sure to include link to listings as well as seller ID in ALL REQUESTS.

Yep that's it. I've already started the case with Poshmark. I may have let the 72-hour reporting window lapse in my ignorance (first Poshmark purchase) but I'm hopeful they'll take care of it for me...
