They're not even PRETENDING to care any more, are they?

Hello, Would you please authenticate this wallet from seller airgela143. It says made in India, and I did know Coach made things in India. If it is real can you tell more about that? Thank you

I agree with Whateve, the tag definitely doesn't match the style, and I don't recognise the style either. I'd like to see a clear head-on shot of the Coach stamp too.
ETA - I should have specified the Coach stamp on the INSIDE, sorry!

As I said, I hope someone else can look at it. I'm not comfortable authenticating without some kind of photo of a known genuine version for comparison.
Hyacinth, I have the 7166 cosmetic case large with original tag, as well as the 7167. Here's pictures of both of them for your records:

ETA: I also have an cosmetic pouch made for the outlet with the bullet stamp. It does not have the bottom seam.

Thanks so much for the great photos, they're a big help! I can't believe they stamped the outlet bullseye right into the body of the leather.

So during almost the same time period, roughly 1991-1997, we had 2 different size Cosmetic Cases 7166 and 7167, a Chunky Case 7165 that went back to the early 1980s, a Skinny Case 7170, a Turnlock Case 7171, and a slightly more recent (1996 ?) Cosmetic Case Large #7172 that had a horizontal seam about an inch above the base. PLUS a Berkeley Chunky Case 7151 that I don't think I've ever seen except in a catalog. CRIKEY! No wonder I can't keep them straight. But this makes it a bit easier. Thanks again for the photos. :flowers:

Interesting... Speaking of this real style, I have the longer version of this wallet pictured with a kisslock coin part. Is my wallet also called a Lexington?
