I’m so sorry! I did totally forget the instructions! I bought it at a thrift store. It looked very good quality and the zippers both ran smooth but none are branded. I own probably several vintage Coach bags and they all have talon or ykk so I kinda freaked out. I’m no an expert with vintage Coach bags so I was hoping you could either tell me to trash or or keep it lol ;) Here are better pics
Can we have measurements, please?

Ok, I thought I found it but Coach's catalog measurements are a bit bigger, which happens a lot. If it's the Light Tote style 4065 from the Lightweight line made in the early 1990s, Coach measures it at 16x13x4 1/2, but it's the only bag that matches and there doesn't seem to have been a smaller version. Maybe they're measuring it across the top. They've changed how they measure bags over the years, and actually used to have an explanation on their website about how they got their measurements but that disappeared years ago.

So this should be it:

Please authenticate and style number if you have it! Thank you!

It's genuine. The Brass version is style 92148, I'm not sure if the silver one had a different number.

ETA - never mind, I found the Silver one. Style 92099

Comment: I totally expected to read "This is a coach bean bag.." but that's not what's on there and it's not a bag.

Interesting. I've never seen it or heard of it before but there's no reason to think it's fake. But there's no way to absolutely authenticate it either. The original Bean Bag paperweight that was in the Holiday 1990 catalog doesn't say "Bean Bag" in the photo but it's almost impossible to read. It DOES look like it starts "This paperweight..." but there aren't any pictures of an actual production version in my files so I can't say if the final version has the same wording.

Since the use of the Bean bag creed in handbags was a mistake that only happened for a short time, I doubt if anything other than that short run of handbag mistakes or the 2 actual Bean Bag items, the 1990 paperweight and key fob, would have had a Bean Bag creed.

Please help I bought this a while back and I never thought to authenticate it, wasn't expensive, but I would love to know. I got it off eBay.

I tried to get I picture of the Serial number but it's too hard but it says:
No h1681 57232
the o is hi with dash under it.
Thank you

Thank you. I wasn't thinking it was fake.. I was actually thinking maybe someone recycled the leather from a bag that was no longer useable.

That was my first thought. And if that's the case, it was done very well!

The listing doesn't have measurements but if it's bigger than the bean bag, it could be an "upcycled" item.
