  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)

  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Both are authentic. One was made in 2005 and the other in 2000.

They should be brass to match the buckles, but in the case of bag feet, sometimes the brass gets worn off so I wouldn't use that to judge authenticity.

Let me preface my reply by saying that the Rogues (among others) are extremely "well" faked so I tend to scrutinize the listings and pictures very carefully. As such, I prefer to err on the side of caution.


I'm not totally comfortable with some of the things I'm seeing in this listing and unless @houseof999 doesn't see what I see, I wouldn't recommend it.

Sorry I'm being cryptic but I don't want to help the fakers improve their fakes nor the sellers of those fakes avoid showing the necessary details.

I totally understand. I appreciate your help. I love Rogue bags and I am so sad that Coach discontinues their Rogues. Hope I can get a Rogue 17 one day. :smile:

It's genuine, but not even CLOSE to being Cashin Era. If sellers don't know what they're talking about they should just keep their guesses and exaggerations to themselves.

It's a Town Bag, style 4093 from the Lightweight line and made in the early 1990s. Cashin and Coach parted company in 1974.

I remember hearing that Rogue was discontinued although I could swear I saw a Rogue in an article for their new campaign. I think they still have the made to order Rogues.

Right? What a shame! They should keep making their beautiful Rogues. MTO Rogues are expensive for me. I am now so into the Rogue 17. I've been looking for her for 2 - 3 months and I have not found any yet. :biggrin:
