Complete fake. The serial number is a known fake that's on the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers list posted in the Salearea Guides thread, the style number doesn't match the bag, the style itself wasn't even made until about 4 years AFTER the date code in the serial number and it's certainly not from the 1980s, and the alignment of the letters in the creed is a mess. And even the leather itself has serious problems, plus one or two other problems that I won't even mention. I really hope you did NOT buy it.

Genuine, maybe a Mulberry Bag, style 9899 made in 1991 or 1992, but it's hard to be completely sure of the name without measurements. The Coach catalog shows that style as measuring 10 x 8 x 3 inches.

Yes, I was a few months off. The Ergo Mini style it's trying to copy wasn't even introduced until late 1997. I thought you meant the 1980s, not 1998.

I have a tan Wendie bag, not sure if its real. The serial is making me suspicious as I have never seen the numbers be that thin, but I have also never seen a bag from Turkey and it might be different? There was also the tag included which I attached photos of below

It's a genuine Wendie Zip made in 1998, and the serial number font is correct for that plant and year.

Good afternoon! Can someone authenticate this coin purse for me? I can't find any reference to a Coach version although the Google tells me it's generally called a horse shoe coin holder and is marketed for men. There are several of them on Poshmark but no where else. If it's authentic, what is it called and when was it made? (It would be a nice upgrade from my dad's plastic squeeze coin holder!)

1 and 3 are authentic in my opinion. I need a better picture of the creed of the Emmie to be sure, but what I'm seeing doesn't look good. The N month code was a known mistake the Italian plant made. The third one definitely has the wrong style number. Mistakes like this happen. It could make it very difficult to resell, so if you intend to do that at some point, I would try to return.

The second one, the "Emmie", is definitely fake. It looks like there's a problem with the turnlock, and the serial number font isn't right either. That could be why the PM seller deleted the listing. I bought only one item from Poshmark more than 3 years ago and the listing is still available online.


ETA - looking closer, there's DEFINITELY a problem with the turnlock.
