Yes, the E plant is Italy.

So it should have been U? Gotcha. Side note: The handle looks awefully shiny. Do you think it was treated with shoe polish?

Authentic Sheridan Glenwood, made in 1994. The year is in the creed.

Where did you get it? The lining is correct for the bag. I don't know why the creed mention suede trim when there isn't any but mistakes happen. I believe it is authentic. More opinions are welcome.

Hi everyone. Im new here. Ive fallen hard for vintage coach bags and unfortunately Ive pulled the trigger in this bag that I suspect is fake (I looked at similar creeds).

Im hoping to complain on ebay and get a refund. Any help on authenticating this bag will be appreciated!!! thank you in advance!

Yes, you're right. It's fake. The prefix PIT is always fake. I believe the style was done with nickel hardware.

I believe it is authentic. There is a mistake in the creed that I've seen before.

That's a new picture to add to my files. I never saw that mistake.

What's the mistake? Did they just use the wrong letter for their plant?

Which do you think is the mistake?

Was the bag made in Hungary but given the Italian plant code?
Or was the bag made in Italy and given the incorrect text?

Do you have another example with the mistake?

If you haven't paid, don't.
If you paid but it hasn't shipped yet, tell the seller not to ship.
If the seller shipped, once you receive it, open a return request. It's better to contact the seller and give him/her the opportunity to accept the return and pay for return shipping before disputing. If the seller fights paying for return shipping (or declines your request), THEN open a dispute for counterfeit.
