Please authenticate this Coach bag which I picked up at Goodwill. I think that it is called the Optic Signature canvas and leather duffel. I believe the year is 2006. If L is the month of manufacture, what does the, what does the 51 mean?

Hello, This is my first time to try to authenticate a bag. I recently started collecting some vintage Coach bags and refurbishing some. This bag was part of a "lot" with a small crossbody I am familiar with.

Brown clutch with wrist strap (I don't know official name)

The creed patch looked pretty good to me, but the word "burnished" caught my attention.
Size approx 10" x 8" x 2.5"
Two main sections and an outer pocket
Tuck-lock latch (I found the name on Tandy Leather) with buckle adjustment (top hole is too high to use)
The wrist strap is not pictured - I have it drying after cleaning, but there is cracking in the edge dressing with threads from an apparent stabilizer between the leather layers coming through. It is a narrow wrist strap - about 1/2".
I found only one other bag like this being offered for sale on Etsy.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It's authentic.

51 is a Chinese plant.

It's authentic and made in 2002.

Is it Jan 1997 in a US plant if real?...still trying to learn these numbers and letters...and has a bullseye so was markdown to outlet at some point?

Authentic pocket purse. Yes, January 1997, and sold at an outlet.
