Hello authenticators! Request to authenticate please. Thank you!
Item: grey leather flap. I don't know the name.
Seller: thrift store, now hoping to add it to my collection!
Link: n/a
Comments: width is about 7,5", height about 8", depth about 2". This bag was in such rough shape and now it has found a good home!! (It looked liked its sister which will be my next request)

Genuine Compact Pouch style 9620, probably early to mid 1980s

Because, so far anyway, CR doesn't seem like a plant that was faked. There may have been a handful but most fakes will use the US, China, Italy and rarely even Turkey. The fakes makers probably thought no one wanted bags made in Costa Rica. Of course that may change if classic styles are still being faked somewhere and the crooks or their minions read this post.

Thanks! Not sure if it’s just me, but I think some of my CR bags are more supple and softer than my other US bags, except my Rambler.

When you have time, I would appreciate if you would let me know your thoughts on this Station Bag(?) I picked it up at GW. It is approximately 9 x 9 x 2 inches and has the infamous "bean bag" creed. I'm also concerned because the creed and serial number are not on the innermost pocket.

Authentic. A lot of station bags have the creed there.
