1- genuine Legacy West Hobo from 2002

#2 - genuine Stewardess, style 9525, early to mid-1980s

Hi! I'd like to double check the authenticity of this bag.

Item: Dinky (?)
Listing number: 163865985564
Seller: hipstertrashvintage
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/163865985564
Comments: Here's a clearer photo of the creed the seller sent me:

Genuine, but not from the 1990s. I believe it's a late 1970s Dinky but there are a lot of similarities between the Dinkys and Pennys from that time, someone at the Vintage Coach Chat thread in the main Coach forum could probably identify it more accurately. Or if Whateve is around she can narrow it down. The strap attachment holes through the leather itself is a feature only found in early versions. (It also makes it harder to find a replacement strap if you need one because the standard dog-leash clips weren't a good fit for those holes).

Oh my. Look at that creed. (Let alone the stamp on the flap.)

Supposed to be a Willis, I think ... but ...

(I apologize if I shouldn't be posting it here, but thought it should come to the experts' attention. Daughter is browsing red crossbodies, and this popped up. Even she kind of stumbled back.)

Thank you, Hyacinth!

YIKES! Definitely fake! And unlike Elizabeth's reaction to Hyacinth's Candlelight Supper table settings, in this case "stumbling back" is NOT a Good Thing!

Off to report...

ETA - And I just have to add a few thumbnails, something this awful deserves to be saved for posterity.

Do NOT buy from seller " connieyoder0423 "

Doncha just love the handy-dandy (1990s) cellphone holder and the 2-tone red combination?

It's fake. The first picture was enough to know but if you kept scrolling, the picture of the creed with 4C-9911 as the serial number is another giveaway.

That serial number is on a lot of fakes and is on Hyacinth's serial number list.
