  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I'll preface my comments with my opinion of Poshmark. I don't (usually) authenticate listings from that site nor do I recommend PM because of Poshmark's lack of action in response to reports of fakes, their findings when buyers dispute their purchases (because their "expert team" deems fakes as authentic and authentic items as fake), and their action in blocking and banning members who've done nothing more than comment on listings that an item might not be authentic/legal.

But in this case, I will comment. All 4 bags you've posted are authentic.

Which one(s) are you questioning and why?

ETA: I am aware that there are honest sellers there but because of the dishonest sellers and the unethical site, all honest PM members are being punished.

ETA #2: And although the bags you've purchased from are authentic, the seller jscreate is another who doesn't verify authenticity of her items.

thank you so much for the quick reply! I don’t know how I managed to pick the authentic ones. But in regards to your question, I had reservations about the tan and burgundy ones where the leather edging ends in the back I thought looked a little sloppy? But, I know next to nothing compared to you guys so I will leave it to the experts.
The other concern I had was the m7c on the green guy. Is that serial code or date stamp?

I'm not sure if I understand what you're asking.

Coach serial numbers starting in 1994 and continuing over the next few years began to include month, year and plant codes in the front half of the serial numbers. That's one of those numbers, it indicates the bag was made in the C plant in December (M) 1997. Be aware that fake bags can have the "correct" numbers and codes so just having a number doesn't prove the bag is authentic. Serial numbers in genuine Coaches made before 1994 didn't have any production codes or letters of the alphabet.

Information on Coach serial numbers can be found in the Salearea Guides thread that's Pinned to the top of each index page in this shopping forum. I strongly suggest reading it, more than once if possible.

@BeenBurned, what is standing out to you about these? Is it bad serial numbers or wrong hardware or bad construction or ...?

Just looking to improve my eye.... TIA.

Actually, the feedback it was me . I feel like they are lying for claiming this purse is authentic but I'm not so sure . The feel of holding that purse seems rough(not sure how to describe it) and my fossil wallet are way better of texture. and i received message from them .IMG_3830.PNG

Without going into too much detail about problems (because I don't want to help the dishonest sellers know what not to show), of the 4 fakes I posted, EVERY one of them has invalid prefixes on the creeds.

Good! I'm glad you posted that feedback and I hope you don't revise it. @appoin.my on shopee.com.my and deserves any negative feedback buyers leave for her.

BTW, I'd open a dispute and return it (since it's fake) but I wouldn't change the feedback.
