Item: Large Bucket Tote # M7C-9090

Comments: I searched for the seller in this thread and didn’t find anything but they have a negative feedback from February that a bag they sold wasn’t authentic. Thanks!

Genuine Legacy Large Shopper from 1997. While I think the seller needs to do a better job in describing and cleaning their items, I'm wondering if the Feedback for a fake Peyton might have been undeserved. We've seen way too many clueless buyers scream "fake!" with bags made between 2014 and 2017 because they didn't have stamped serial numbers on the creed patch (and a LOT of those useless Coach "authenticity guides" insist that all genuine Coaches should have serial numbers, which is an out-and-out LIE), and this could be one of those situations. I'd also be concerned about someone who ships something without cleaning or measuring it.

Just seeing your edit, thanks for the additional thoughts. I agree that listing an item that wasn’t cleaned is a bit ... weird. I asked them about the interior stain as I was wondering if it was ink and they said no. So they probably could have cleaned it up a bit with minimal work.

I also though the feedback may have been a mistake as they seem to have no other negative feedback and they were really quick to answer my message.

Thanks again!
Although I agree that the Peyton feedback doesn't appear deserved, pickingfanboy5 does need to brush up on his/her verifying of items. Although I didn't see any other posts here, my own records show there was a fake in January of this year (with an obvious invalid serial number) and these current listings are also fakes:
P4P prefix: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-CO...321875?hash=item4b61cc3c13:g:EbIAAOSwmv5co3Aa
22096-08 serial number: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VTG-COACH-...536913?hash=item4b60ad9951:g:XWoAAOSw27dckY2O

ETA: And this fake was sold:

ETA #2: Another sold fake with K5R serial number:

Listing: Coach 1972 federal presidential seal vintage rare
Seller: Deseret

Genuine, but it's not that rare a style, we'll see maybe one or two a year here. The Coach Archives has at least 3. Normally we're not supposed to comment on price but that price seems high (or maybe it's just my lond-standing contempt for Richard Nixon!). It's actually the Great Seal of the United States, not a Presidential seal. Good luck!

Oh that’s not good eek! Thank you for doing some digging.

I was hoping to purchase the legacy shopper to attempt my first real rehab, I wouldn’t have worried about hurting it for the price. But I think will steer clear for now and wait for something else.

Thank you to you and @Hyacinth!

That bag is fine if that's what you want. I was just pointing out (for future buyers) that they need to be careful.

Sellers who mix authentic and fake are (IMO) more dangerous than sellers who sell all fakes.

I would rather purchase from someone who takes more care. Seeing how much work and research that goes on in this thread to protect buyers and ultimately the brand we love has really given me a new appreciation for those that do it right [emoji1]

Plus I sell on eBay so I know there really is no excuse lol

Thank you I thought it seemed high.
