  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.
Thank you and be safe!

I could be totally wrong about this, but that black shopper bag is so shiny that it looks like it has been treated with shoe polish. I could be completely incorrect about that, she may have just moisturized it and that is why it looks so shiny - but you might ask if the bag has been polished or treated with anything before you buy. Shoe polish is nasty stuff that will rub off on your clothes!

Note: The PurseForum requests that only members with an extensive knowledge of the brand and authenticating who have over 500 posts participate as authenticators in this AT thread. The moderators reserve the right to remove authentications that do not meet these requirements.

Please follow the following rules:

  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.

    Item:
    Listing number:
    Seller:
    Link:
    Comments:

  • If the bag in question is not on an auction site, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
    Link (if available):
Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)
    • Please be sure to include a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number from inside the bag or accessory if there is one, and the bag's measurements when the bag is an older or vintage leather Coach.
    • Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.
  • Authenticators are not required to answer every request and it is their right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format.
  • Please note that comments on price and condition are NOT permitted.
  • Do NOT PM an authenticator or moderator to request authentication. Any and all such requests should be posted in this thread.

Please authenticate this coach mini Sierra f55450 that I’ve purchased recently from markavip website , everything about it seems authentic but what made me question its authenticity is the misspelling in the creed patch (see pictures)
Link to bag : http://ol.j.bz/JZZRIZJ3Ff

I am NOT an expert on newer styles, so please wait for one of them. But so many run-together words would be a BIG red flag for me. I can almost see one spelling or punctuation mistake getting by, but not SEVEN of them! Please wait for other opinions but wherever that website is located, I would not be comfortable buying from them. If the experts on newer styles agree I think you should consider returning it for a full refund.

To show what I mean - most of the online photos of this style seem to be copied from other websites or from what are called "stock" photos but here is one that shows what the CORRECT punctuation of the words in that creed should be in standard English. Since you didn't say where you were located, it's possible that English is not your first language so I want to show what a creed stamp using correct English spacing between the words should actually look like. I don't even know if this is from a genuine bag and the actual words are hard to read, but it's much more accurate than the one you bought. Please notice the spacing between the individual words. No matter what country they are made in, Coach creed stamps always follow correct English spelling, spacing and punctuation rules.

I'm also concerned.

When trying to show similarities and differences, I try to show the same style bags from the same factory and when possible, even made in the same month.

Notice the difference in the creed between your bag and the bag in this listing which I feel comfortable is authentic. The creed pics are also posted below for comparison.

While your bag indicates it was made in October, 2016 and the comp bag is from June, 2017, both were made in the "81" plant and spacing should be identical BUT THEY ARE NOT.

If I were you, I'd return the bag. I don't think it's authentic.

And for further emphasis on my doubts about the bag purchased from the seller on jollychic, here's another bag also made in the "81" plant with PROPER spacing.

ETA: I just did a whois lookup and the Jollychic site is based in zhejiang, China.

Here's another listing with a creed from the same plant as the bag in question and the creed and spacing are clearly different from the bag in question.

And BTW, I can't find any evidence that the bag was made as early as 2016.
