Comment: the kiss lock hardware of the pocket is in the right direction but it's the inside fabric used inside the pockets that have me worried. Also the stems of kiss lock seems too long. The leather wrapping off the kisslock hardware also looks off in color. The seller doesn't show a pic of the Creed and the bag should be numbered. I asked for a pic. But besides that I think the strap, the hangtag and the key fob are good but the bag itself is fake. Look at the glitter edge of the handles.. don't they look green? Shouldn't they match the strap? Hi @houseof999. I checked my bag and I think the lining in the kisslock and zipper pocket are different than the bag for sale. The lining are the same in both places in my bag. See attached pictures. I tried to add some extra light, so I hope you can see the detail.

Here are some additional pictures. No, the glitter edge is not green, but I think it is the way the seller took the picture. The other thing that seems off is the inside of the kisslock where the two frames are connected. My bag looks clean and nicely done. They seller bags does not. Hope this helps.

I wasn't going to authenticate but after doing some side-by-side comps with an authentic bag in the same color, I'm seeing some noticeable differences.

I can't read the creed but there is a serial number on it. I hope she sends it to you or posts in the listing.

Oops, I hit post too soon.

My observations:
1. The kisslock part that sits on the frame is longer than on the authentic bag
2. The stitching on the leather pieces that the feet are on should be in smaller stitches than around the edges of the base. The authentic version shows that; the one in question has the same stitch length in both places
3. The rings on the top that hold the long strap are closer to the kisslock on the bag in question whereas on the authentic bag, they're closer to the sides.

I don't believe the bag in question is authentic.

OMG thank you guys so much! I truly appreciate it! I had my suspicion but my mind is blown from the seller's response in reply to my request for Creed photo.

This is such a scary fake! So now that the Creed patch is numbered even in fakes, the buyers are less likely to suspect the item.

I looked on both momandaddi and on purpleang1027 's account and didn't find any "authentication" guides. I'd love to see a link. (I also googled to see if there was a cache to be found and came up empty.)

I can't read the last number of the prefix in the creed picture that momandaddi sent you. Is it a 3 or a 6? If 3, there's a problem because both would have been made in the same month/year/plant yet show different numbers for the limited edition.

The differences I see in the creed comps are as follows:
1. "Coach" is higher (closer to the top of the patch) on momandaddi's bag than on the comp
2. The serial number and limited edition numbers are closer to the bottom of the patch on the comp than on momandaddi's bag.
3. Stitch length on sides of creed is longer so there are fewer stitches on momandaddi's bag than on the comp. (13 stitches vs. 15 stitches)

1. As does my comp picture, your creed also shows the Coach logo lower (further from the top of the patch) than the bag in question.
2. Yours also has 15 stitches down the sides of the creed patch as opposed to 13 stitches on the questionable one from momandaddi
3. The sealant on the edges of your creed is neater than the one in question. On the bag in question, you can see that the sealant extends on to the front of the creed (slightly)

Thank you so much! I haven't replied to the seller yet. Did you notice the dust bag is also not like any that come with all the 1941 bags? I had been just watching it and I kept thinking the bag looks taller, the pink and the brown leather are also not the right shade. The hinge reminded me of the fake duck satchel too!
As always, thank you for the side by side comps! They make it easier to notice difference between them.

It's authentic but I didn't answer because I didn't know the same of the style.

I was hoping @whateve or @Hyacinth might know the name, thus saving me a post! :)
