Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number

  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I’m wondering if what you find suspicious is the creed tag? Now that I’m looking at it, the font & spacing doesn’t look right. Also, stamp is somewhat faint, and again, no hang-tag present. Is that same reason you believe it’s fake, or is there something else also?

We don't use hangtags to authenticate bags. A missing hangtag doesn't mean a bag is fake. The snap should be stamped, but it is just plain. The creed should look more like this one, both in the body and the prefix.

Good evening, authenticators! I’d appreciate your assistance in authenticating this bag. It is missing the hang-tag. I’m unsure if the technical style name for this bag is Coach Legacy Equestrian small flap, or something else. Many thanks, in advance!

I sure hope the seller is honest and will give you your refund without a hard time. If necessary, refer the seller here.

I'm concerned because if the seller doesn't do the right thing, I don't trust Poshmark to do the right thing. They don't recognize fakes and have given a hard time to buyers who wanted refunds for fakes.

I received more pics if you don’t mind taking a second look. I think you’re right about the style, although the measurements from the seller was a big off on length and height - possibly because she measured it flat (squished a bit), but depth was exactly right. Thank you so much for your time!

She isn’t very happy, but yes, is refunding. I hadn’t yet “accepted” the shipment. Also, I use PayPal, and they have a guarantee if something is not as described...they’ll go to bat for you. I have returned a couple bags that were not as described and so far (knock on wood) they haven’t given me grief.

Unless there was a different size Tailored Pouch that Coach introduced and almost immediately discontinued, that's what it is.

Styles like that should be measured seam to seam for the length, and ideally while the bag is stuffed, NOT flat. Please measure it that way when you get it.

The bag is authentic. There is no need to post pictures if the listing is viewable online and has sufficient pictures. You only need to post supplemental photos. Also we don't need a close-up of zipper markings as we don't use zipper manufacturer to authenticate.

As far as the cat, it appears authentic, but almost too perfect! lol

Haha, isn’t he though? He’s got style, pizazz and is definitely the real deal! Plus, he thinks he’s boss of the world (gives our St. Bernard a run for his money)
