There should be a small white label with production numbers on it. It's probably buried deep inside the zippered interior pocket and you might have to dig and feel around to find it. I need to see a picture of that label.

Hi BeenBurned, yes you are right, I just found it, please help! Thank you very much

As I've commented quite a few times over the last couple of years, some of the newer bags (Swaggers among them) are very closely faked and as such, I prefer to err on the side of caution. So if pictures and details are questionable and if there aren't other listings for the same item to verify that it's the way Coach would have made the bag, I'd recommend against buying.

Regarding the bag in question, there are problems with the creed and with the stitching on the back of the bag that make me uncomfortable.

While I can't say (with the information I have) that the bag is fake, I also can't verify that it's genuine. As such, I wouldn't buy this bag.

OTHER OPINIONS ARE WELCOME.

In the following picture, the creed of the bag in question is in the upper right. The stitching is sloppy and uneven and the space between "New York" and the creed text is larger than on the comps.

In the following picture, the vertical stitch line is farther away from the side of bag than on any others.

Thanks for looking

They're still barely visible. And it's very possible that the workers in whatever non-US country sewed the jacket just got the pattern alignment wrong. The lining doesn't prove anything.

And we can't give any opinion based only on the one picture you supplied. We need photos of the entire jacket, front and back, and ALL tags or labels inside the jacket and the pockets, there probably should also be a tag somewhere inside with the style number. I'd also like a photo of the dogleash clip on the zipper and any stampings on it..

As specified in Post number One of this thread, if this is from an online auction or selling site, we need the URL of the original listing.

I’m sorry hyacinth I’m on my iPad and I can’t figure out how to get the url from Macari. But the seller is Mishs marketplace. This is a copy of her other Picts. She says there are no tags other than the one showing

It's probably okay but to confirm, I'd like to see closeups of the Coach neck label and the small label under it.

Hey BeenBurned, there's a different size one listed on Ebay with what looks like the same lining with the sideways Cs, what do you think? The "Made In Korea" worries me but we HAVE seen genuine clothing items from Korea before:

Thank you. On the lining I thought they all did 2 connecting Cs one direction and then 2 not connecting. But this one looked like the Cs facing normal is only a single so I didn’t know they came that way too.

The C pattern is sideways, maybe that's what's throwing you off?

I THINK it's ok, but please wait for BeenBurned to confirm if you can. All my limited experience with jackets has been of the older ones with stamped serial numbers.

Ya that looks like the same one. The single c bothered me. All my jackets that have the signature lining has all the Cs doubled just 1 set not touching and these ones aren’t like that
The jacket posted by Hyacinth is authentic and I'm comfortable that the one on Mercari is fine too.

Coach clothing, scarves and other softlines goods are often made in Korea.

Here's another 1941 collection jacket made in Korea. And here's another.
In fact, it appears many of their leather jackets production is done in Korea:

@sb2 - The signature pattern lining is correct; it's just turned 90-degrees from as we usually see it. I don't generally pay a lot of attention to linings and the direction they're cut but this seems to be how they were made in this case.
