I'm not familiar with the wallet but that striped lining is weird. Did you happen to notice the weave and texture of the lining? It almost looks like loosely woven muslin.

I wondered about that, but I thought maybe it was because it was an extreme close up.
I thought the tan leather on the inside was kind of weird, and the edge of the white around it looks kind of rough, not as finished as I would expect.

Hi authenticators! :) I'm new- just started my love affair with Coach and am wanting to purchase my first non-vintage bag. I have so much to learn, and am thankful I found you guys before I pulled the trigger on anything I really regretted (I have bought a couple of vintage bags which I will list later to have you take a look at just to make sure!) :)
I'm looking at this on ebay and would love your opinion- I can't believe that it could be real since she's reselling it for so little, but I am in love with the style and thought I'd check with you guys to make sure. Like I said, total newbie so I might be making a fool of myself, but I'm ok with that if it saves me from walking around with a fake purse! ;) Hopefully I do this correctly........

I'm not Hyacinth, but it is a saddlery bag #9535 from the mid 80s.
