The bag is in my possession. I purchased it from poshmark. You are correct. The hardware is two different colors.

This is Off topic but I have a store on Ebay where I sell mostly Coach products. Can I post a link to have my items reviewed?
We can authenticate your items but you can't post a link to your active listings. You can upload photos here and we'll give an opinion.

Thank you very much for all the help and quick reply’s. I have requested permission to return this attaché case as item is not authentic. If this item is denied to be return, it will be destroyed. I hate fakes and will not sell or donate it. I appreciate all the advice and time you have given me. THANK YOU.

If I didn't get my money back, I would open a claim with my credit card company or paypal.

The colors as shown on the tag aren't correct for the color of the backpack you received. And a dust bag probably wouldn't have come with a MFF item.

Please post a link to the listing from which you purchased. Before further comment, i want to see the listing.

hi, I'm new. I'm looking at this bag, or similar.
Item: NWT COACH 54536 FOREST GLOVETANNED PEBBLE LEATHER ROGUE 25
Listing number: 162788702775
Seller: 620jean
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-COACH-...702775?hash=item25e6f67a37:g:ZWQAAOSw~HBaB1Rc
Comments: I'm new to authenticating bags, and I noticed the stitching here is a lighter color than the Coach photo. Thoughts?
Welcome to TPF.

The rogues are among several other similar styles of Coach bags that are highly and well faked. Authenticating those items takes more time than other more easily authenticating items.

I'm not comfortable with many of 620jean's listings as she uses Coach's own copyrighted stock images in her listings (which is infringement) and listings with non-stock photos don't all appear to be the seller's own pictures. There are different backgrounds, different photographing styles, etc.

I'm not sure that her listings show her own pictures of the actual items.

Sellers of highly faked brands need to do the work involved when listing and selling. I want to know that the pictures I'm authenticating are the actual items the buyers will receive and in this case, I'm not sure of that.

Thank you very much. I see what you mean. I was immediately cautious because the price seems too good to be true as well. I'm really holding back from taking the risk and buying it to see for myself/authenticate it once it's in my hands. Hopefully another will come up.

I have no idea of the type of seller 620jean and whether she actually has the items in hand. But as a seller of as many Coach items as she has and someone who's been around as long as she has, she should know the importance of doing her own work to show her actual items.

Authenticators who aren't only helping buyers but are helping sellers too aren't happy to have to spend a lot of time figuring out which (if any) pictures are her own, which are stock photos and which might have been stolen from other sources.

I'm sure you'll find another rogue from a seller who takes her own pictures and does her own work.

*Stepping off my soapbox.....*
