LOL! Maybe Hyacinth remembers the amount or has a price point at which a keychain goes from being "reasonable" to "pricey" to "gouging."

Oops. That would have been my price range too. Although there are some fobs (fox, tiger, dragon) that you'll never see at $75-100.

Only 3 of the 4 prices for the Peneoples are in my files and none of them were NWT but they all were in very good used condition and I paid between $36 and $40 before shipping, probably 8 or 9 years ago. Like you said, it depends on how much I want something. I didn't make a note of what I paid for the Dragon, but that's probably just as well. (His name, of course, is Smaug) :graucho:

If I ever wanted to sell my Penelopes it would be as a full set of 4 and for $500 firm. If no one bought I'd be perfectly happy to keep them, I think they're gorgeous. The ones Coach are selling these days do nothing for me, even the butterflies. And I'm usually a sucker for butterflies!

And now, back to Robin Hood! I:heart:TCM!

I consider anything under $75 - $100 each "reasonable" for those charms. Mine were in about the same price range as yours allowing for inflation but that was back when there were more available.

Oops. Hyacinth has fast fingers! That would have been my price range too. Although there are some fobs (fox, tiger, dragon) that you'll never see at $75-100.

 That's fine then, I am okay with paying a fair price but I found that someone had listed the full set on ebay for $1,000 and that seemed rather excessive. I recognize that having the full set NWT is worth a bonus but that's too much IMO!

$500 is a much more reasonable price for the set IMO! And I've got a couple of butterfly charms myself, but I sure wish that I could find my own Smaug!

OMG, Errol Flynn in green tights!!! I love TCM, too!

hi ladies,
i would highly appreciate if you could authenticate Coach Madison Gathered Sophia.
i've been so happy to finally get this bag but know i am having doubts mainly because the carriage logo is missing.15055052171471430205067.jpg 1505505301104755815343.jpg 15055053444471591915923.jpg 1505505375947605246896.jpg

I just spent a lot of money on 2 fobs, so I hope that I didn't make a mistake (or two!)

I haven't paid for the Mercari item yet because you pay when it ships, but the ebay item was BIN so I have paid for that one.

They look fine to me, but I know that these Penelope Flower Charms are hard to find and can be pricey so hopefully they are genuine and that I didn't pay too much.

I can't include the dimensions because I don't have the items yet. As always, I appreciate your expert opinions, thanks in advance!

I've bought many items from cutiemaya0827. She is very nice. Occasionally she has unknowingly listed fakes. I don't think she knows much about her products. I bought my Penelope calla lily from her and it is the Japanese version with a yellow flower instead of white. Her prices tend to be cheaper than other sellers on ebay, I think partly because many buyers are reluctant to buy from Japan. BTW, she has allowed me to buy several charms at one time and only charges $10 for shipping them together. I think now is a good time to find older charms at good prices. I've noticed many are selling cheaper than they were a year ago. I paid over $100 for a couple of mine.

Based my concern over stolen pictures from a Filippino website, Hyacinth's comments about differences between the bag in question (from a Facebook seller) and another bag from the same year and what we've seen in the past of the extremely close fakes coming out of the Philippines, not only do I not recommend the second seller or bag but I'll stress again that extreme caution should be exercised if buying from a seller in the Philippines.

Yes, the seller is from PH. She claims that she bought the bag from a factory store in the US. Thank you all for your input! :)

I am not an authenticator so wait for experts but I think that it is a genuine Coach bag, but that it is a "made for factory" (MFF) outlet store version of the original Madison, gathered, Sophia. Coach does that sometimes and I think it is rather sneaky of them. They make an attractive, slightly different and less expensive version of a popular boutique bag and give it a different name and sell it at the outlets for a cheaper price; but it is still a beautiful, genuine Coach bag so you should enjoy it. I have a lot of MFF items that I like a lot!

You can tell it was MFF because it has an F after the hyphen at the start of the style number on the creed patch (F18620) and the F in that position means "Factory".

Hi, everyone!
I recently bought this bag from an online seller at a discounted price.
The price was too good to be true so it got me wondering if it really is legit.

Please have a look and let me know if it is authentic or not.
Thank you so much for your help!

I think that katev made a very good point. Checking all the bags with style number 18620 and F18620 brings up one other bag that doesn't have a Carriage emblem, and it also has a Factory code "F" in front of the style number just like the one Julija is asking about.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Hand-...725309?hash=item3af02f277d:g:n24AAOSwy3NZYJTh

Every other bag has only the standard "18620" style number on the creed meaning they were originally made for the full-price stores and ALL of those have the Carriage emblem. So even though I'm not an expert in newer styles the absense of the Carriage seems to go with bags that were made for the Factory stores. I agree that since there aren't any other red flags that the bag is probably genuine.

Hi everybody! I'm curious about 3 things (had to edit this because I didn't follow the preferred format the first time around. Sorry for any notification-splosions!)

Item: COACH ATLANTA OLYMPICS 1996 LTD ED USED WEEKENDER/TRAVEL/DUFFEL/DUFFLE/GYM BAG

Item: COACH K70 5265 Vintage Black Distressed Leather Crossbody Flap Messenger Bag SR

Comments: Seller misread the serial number. It's K7C-5266 according to the photo.

Item: VTG Coach Large Black Bucket Duffle Feed Saddle Crossbody Overnight Bag
Listing number: 122701087210
Seller: thepaulsnash

Comments: Dimensions listed in "Item Specifics" seem off (13" tall, 9" wide, 9" deep??), but the description lists the bag as 11"x10" with no depth measurement. Looks kind of like a Whitney 4115 but without the flap at the top.

Thank you in advance!

All three are genuine. The second one is a style 5266 Beekman Brief. As for number 3, don't depend on a seller's measurements to be accurate. There's no set rules about how or where to measure a bag. It's a 4075 Bucket Bag from the Soho/Lightweight line, not a Whitney.

Again I am not an authenticator, and you didn't give us a full picture of the bag; but that number F57524 IM BLK is correct for a Sierra Satchel Crossbody Bag in Cross-Grain Leather. The Sierra Satchel is a genuine bag that was made for the Coach Outlet Stores in 2017. See the Coach drill-down picture below.
