We've already discussed this bag but I can't find it in the forum. The search isn't working. I doubt it is really raspberry, since Coach didn't make a color like that. It looks like it might be the Lightweights color wine or it might have been dyed. I can't find any style in my files that has that shape.

You definitely want to see more pictures before you do anything else.

There are a few similar but more expensive styles on Ebay but even though the basic designs are similar, a lot of the small details are different, and the stitching details worry me, they just don't feel right. I've never seen this one before but that doesn't mean much.

It's genuine, from the late 1980s so an early Court Bag.

That straw texture worried me too, it's much thinner straw than they usually use. And the Coach Leatherware stamp on the front is much too close to the leather piece sewn right below it, Coach is usually pretty careful about spacing. Minor things, but things that start ringing alarm bells.

The more I look at the straw bag that tammy596 is selling, the more uncomfortable I am.

Here are a couple more comparisons showing huge differences. Although the comps are from different styles and different listings, there are differences in the tammy596 bag that are not the way Coach makes its bags.
