Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
  • FOR ITEMS LISTED ONLINE:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Not only was there a completely different fake style and with the same fake lining and creed patch listed on Ebay at almost the same time as this fake "5688" was listed

Why didn't you get it authenticated here BEFORE you listed it?

BTW, IT'S A VIOLATION OF US COPYRIGHT LAWS TO USE COACH'S COPYRIGHTED WEBSITE PHOTOS IN YOUR LISTINGS WITHOUT COACH"S PERMISSION. You obviously have a camera - please take your own pictures, don't "borrow" them illegally.

Why would it mean that this one is fake? There's no creed photo but the lining is different. There WAS a Cashin tribute line using some of the graphics she did for her Coach items, but some are fake and some are real. The one you're asking about is probably one of the real ones. The fakes are usually easy to spot for anyone familiar with the line, but they ALL should be authenticated.

I'm not familiar with all the ones from this line and the graphics looked similar so just wanted to check. Is there an online resource/catalog where I can see all of them?

@sammysmom - Is this the listing from which you purchased? If so, you're too late for an ebay SNAD dispute but since Paypal allows 180 days, you're well within the timeframe to open a dispute against the seller lindamlyon

Clearly this bag wasn't bought from a legitimate retailer and while I have no issue with any seller finding good "flip" deals, unless you are expert, it's in your best interest (both for buyer reassurance as well as for your reputation as a seller and your account) to have items authenticated prior to listing.

Just because a bag at a consignment store looks like another doesn't mean that the bag is identical nor that the bag is authentic.

The one in the listing you referenced is authentic. I have no idea whether the cheaper one at the consignment store is or not.
