Found this little vintage thing at Goodwill, and it's got an 8 digit serial number, otherwise seems fine to me. I think/hope it will rehab okay but I'd love to know if it has a name. Has a slip pocket on the back. Can you authenticate, please? L: 8 ", H:7" D 2.5"

I've never seen a Coach keychain like this. Is it authentic? TIA!

I've never seen it before, and "butterfly keychain" is one of my permanent Searches on Ebay.

I can't say if it's real or not, but I wouldn't buy it without a verifiable style number plus a price tag. I don't like the look of the metal rings and especially don't like the stitching down the center. There's an indentation as if someone started the bottom stitch too low and then moved it higher, and the BIG problem is that the center stitching is slightly off-center and the red center piece of the butterfly isn't cut exactly even on the bottom, the 2 sides right at the tip don't match.

If it is real, then Coach's quality (as well as their creativity!) has SERIOUSLY tanked over the last few years.

Genuine. It looks like a Collegiate Bag, style 9015 from around 1989-1990. A few bags from that time period did have the extra number in the serial instead of a space or dash.

It's good. Although style number -1417 has also been used in hundreds, maybe thousands of fakes, this one is a genuine Legacy Soft Leather Duffle made in 2004.

Thanks for replying! I didn't think it was up to Coach quality. I won't be buying, just wanted to check authenticity when one I've never seen pops up. Thanks again!

I saw that one too, and was thinking exactly the same things. It looks so homemade! I believe we have seen fakes from this seller before.

Would you kindly authenticate? Thank you!

Item: Crescent
Seller: Poshmark
Seller ID: kuhinga
Dimensions: about 10 x 9.5 x 2
Comments: The creed is really high on the inside flap; the male part of the turnlock looked silvery but now I think I'm blind and it's just polished. The backside of it looks normal & even has verdigris.

It looks authentic. Remember, since there is no number, this is one of the first bags to have a creed. They hadn't figured out the right place to put it.
