Thank you and be safe!

VERY fake. The serial fonts are wrong and NOT what was used by the D plant, the back of the turnlock is wrong, And according to the catalogs, that style wasn't even introduced until Spring 1997, so how can it have a September 1994 date code?.

Stop stressing yourself out over this kind of thing and just ask. You'll give both your nerves AND your wallet a break.

LOL! Yes, ma'm! I looked at eBay guide and saw J8D and wasn't going to ask assuming it was fake but the seller requested I tell her for sure. So I came to get a confirmation for her.

ETA: Thank you!!

Here are most of the Signature Stripe Denim bags from the 2007 Collection. I can't pull up any of the original description pages but the Sig Stripe Large Denim Tote # 11180 and the baby bag style Sig Stripe Multi Function Denim Tote # 11175 are probably the 2 largest. As I said in the other thread, Coach does not use the same style number for different size bags even if they seem to all look alike.

I'm including 2 screencaps of the Wayback Machine's main handbag page from June 2007, plus a 'cap of my own photo files of those same styles. It's good to see the Hobo/Shoulder Tote 11182 in a listing too, that style never seems to have made it onto the Wayback and for a long time I wondered if there even was such a number.Daria48 may have even had it on her Fakes List at Ebay for a while, but it looks like a valid style number, that's why there are now a few extra pics of it in my own files.

Hope it helps you find what you're looking for.

Wow. That was very nice of you Hyacinth. Thank you.
Indeed, it looks like the 11175 or 11180 would be nice. I assume they both have the Legacy Stripe lining.
Another one to hunt down! I guess that's half the fun.

I'm not sure about the linings. But as long as you make sure the seller included a photo of the creed patch and serial number there should be at least a little patch of lining in the photo. Referring back to my post in the other thread, linings are also something that Coach occasionally changed or modified during production, especially the Legacy Stripe linings. Don't assume the bag has it unless you can actually see it.

That must be why I've seen a few that look like what I want on the exterior, but have a solid satin lining instead. SMH.

Hello community
I bought this secondhand years ago, and am ready to part ways, hoping to sell via ebay. Only saw one similar listed so thought I'd ask here. Thank you and I appreciate any help!
Item: Coach bucket bag (don't know official name)

Could someone please authenticate this Coach orphan?
My sister bought it at a local yard sale and I was a bit suspicious...til I found a bunch of them online hanging on Riley plaid tote bags. Shame it was separated from it's tote
Approx. 9.25"w x 6"h x 1"d. Strap 8.25" as shown.
I was suspicious of all the hardware having Coach imprints, yet nothing on the zipper...LOL! And I was a little leery of no "Made In..." tag inside.
Thanks in advance!

The wristlet in this soon to end auction looks fake to me.

Gotta run, if fake can someone please report? Thanks!

I don't see anything wrong with it. What makes you think it is fake?

I don't see any problems with it either. What makes you think it should be reported, and I hope you haven't already done so?

ETA - In fact, it looks exactly like style 3452 except for the different patch, and it makes sense for Coach to have replaced the fake-looking "creed" patch used in the pre-production website photo with the simpler Coach Leatherware patch that was being used on so many other bags and small accessories at the time.

Please don't report anything just because "it looks like it's fake"! If you can't explain what details are wrong and why, don't report. Ask here first, and we'll post whether or not it really IS wrong.

There have been waaaaaaaaay too many sellers who have had genuine items reported as fakes by clueless or just plain dishonest buyers, or by 3rd parties who based their reports on a "feeling" instead of actual facts and details. If you're not sure enough to figuratively stand before a judge in a court of law and show proofs, then ask, don't report.
