Is it good? It's not too small for me. The Wendie and Abbie demi are too small for me.

The top opening is pretty small, I think, so I'm not sure how much you can actually fit in it. Coach's photo isn't much help either. And yes, it's a genuine Girlie Suede Hobo. Here are a few other versions:

Sorry, the pictures just aren't clear enough for authentication, and the G plant code doesn't have more than a small handful of provably genuine examples in my files. Mercari really needs to allow more photos in their listings, and to include some kind of Zoom feature, it's really hard to see any important details. You and the seller aren't even seeing the same serial number, and I can't read it either.

Maybe someone else can take a look

Thank you! Mercari is weird in a way because I can zoom in on the app but not if I am on PC.
I can zoom on my desktop by right clicking and selecting "view image" but it is very pixelated. There aren't enough details to prove one way or the other if it is authentic. I don't trust the font and spacing on the number for the G plant.

Got from GW and I'm clearly no expert, but I'm having some hinky vibes: the leather is seriously 'elephant skinny', especially in comparison to the overall wear of the bag, the serial number looks off somehow (not just the no hyphen), and I'm not sure if it's a thing for the d-rings, but they are not solid/continuous. Am I cuckoo or is this indeed faux. Thanks so much
ETA: forgot measurements: 9x6x2
The creed looks fine. The rings can have openings.

"Elephant-skin" wrinkles in areas of a bag that are heavily stretched or stressed, or are subjected to a lot of bending like the top of a bag's flap, aren't red flags by themselves. The stretch marks along the sides could just be from overloading. It's when the stretch marks are on places on the bag where there isn't any stress that the red flag should go up.

D rings usually weren't continuous, they could be opened and removed to be cleaned or to replace the strap.

Not having a hyphen isn't a problem, most of the genuine ones I have photos of don't have them either. The creed and serial in yours look exactly like the ones in genuine bags from that plant and year, and none of the problems I've seen in fakes are showing up in yours..It looks to me like a genuine Ritchie Bag.

Thank you ladies, cuckoo it is! And thanks for the info on the d-rings, good info for the future. I'll give it a good bath and see if that gives a bit of a face lift

Oh oh that kind of photo only makes me want to collect them all! Eek!:nuts:

I've never actually counted them but between 2000 and 2002 they probably made something like 30 or 40 different Girlie styles, so you might have a lot of collecting to do! It looks like they used every type of fabric and leather they could think of, the Girlies are almost like a wearable set of samples of all the materials they were using for their bags or that would show up in other lines over the next few years. Girlie style numbers should be in the 8100 and 8300 range, and they all have the same measurements and strap details.

I will most likely only collect leather. I have dogs and dog hair sticks to EVERYTHING!! So all fabric ones are out. I should probably avoid the suede one for the same reason. And I don't like monogram. How many types am I down to?

I think it's a C for the plant. I have 3 different images. The more I blew them up, the more grainy they became but I still think it's a C. (I think the month is B, not E.)

Does this keychain look like anything anyone has seen before? The enameling looks like a mess to me, I'm not comfortable with the seller and I'm looking for other opinions.

I saw that one and wondered too. It bothers me that the top of the heart has the letters "coa" which doesn't seem like something that would make sense from a styling viewpoint. I agree, the enameling looks terrible. The details on the carriage don't seem right. One of the wheels is missing spokes.

It makes much sense being the C plant. Here's one to compare it to: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Hobo-...449717?hash=item3ace317075:g:fjQAAOSwFV9XxjKG
I think it is probably okay but it is still too blurry to say for sure.

Yup, with the exception of the missing spokes, I also noticed those other issues you commented on. It'll be interesting to hear Hyacinth's POV.

Another thing I noticed is that the heart looks more elongated than I'd think it should be.

Fake, for all of the above reasons.

And "COA"??? Why the F would Coach EVER use an abbreviation like that? It's not a trademarked logo and it's just plain STUPID to use it on any genuine item. Nothing even close at the Free Dictionary either. Certificate of Authenticity? Condo Owners Association? Cover our a$$es?
http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/COA

It's a POS - report away!

Maybe between 8 and 10, if you're lucky. Just be sure to try one on first to make sure it works for you.
8134 - Girlie french calf
8146 - Girlie Perforated Hobo Spr'02, purple, vicuna or pink
8148 - Girlie leather hobo, 10x7
8164 - Girlie Suede Hobo
8165 - girlie nappa hobo in holiday'01, sometimes called Ashton by sellers
8169 - girlie nappa hobo
8312 - Girlie Nappa Hobo maybe
8319 - leather Girlies w wacky creed and outlet stamp - "OF COMPIFTFIY NATURAL GLOVE TANNED..." And yes, they're genuine.

That's all I've found in my files but there may be more. Most of them will have outlet stamps. I'm not completely sure about all the names and numbers. Just a suggestion - if the Nappa leather on the Girlies is even half as nice as it is on the larger bags, those would be worth looking for. JMO

here's an example - not my listing, of course:
