ETA: What is confusing is that the styling of that supposedly Hamilton bag is so similar to a Hampton's hobo. I think Hamilton might be the factory version of Hamptons.
That might be right. I think I was involved in the Hamilton vs. Hamptons discussion. I'd had a bag with HML on the tag and when I listed it (although possible KWS), I used both Hamilton and Hamptons in the title because of the conflicting information I had at the time.

When Whateve mentioned that perhaps Hamilton vs. Hamptons was MFF vs. FP, I looked back at my pictures of my item. I thought my "HML" item was FP but it's not; it has a MFF style number. The style of the bag definitely looks like a Hamptons style.

Boy, do I know what it means to go overboard! I have some Juicy charms and fobs too. I bought a few keychains on Etsy when I couldn't buy the Coach leather feather. I didn't get a feather but once I started looking, I found some I didn't know I needed!

I hope you find your Tony Duquette someday. If you had found it when you first started looking, you wouldn't have amassed such a wonderful collection.

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that my Tony Duquette practically fell in my lap. I don't believe I was looking for it in particular but when I saw it listed on ebay new with tags for 30% off retail, I jumped. At the time, it was still available in stores. I don't think I've seen it on ebay since, even for a ridiculous price.

That's a great way of looking at it! Hopefully one will drop into my lap when I'm least expecting it :) I haven't seen any recently on eBay either, but I have a couple of leads through other collectors. Several months ago I just missed one on a Facebook site...so close! One of these days it will be mine :)

If you're the buyer, contact Tradesy IIMMEDIATELY and tell them the item you bought is fake. I can't bring up the photos or use the Contact link without registering but I strongly suggest you copy and Save the photos of the bag, the description that includes the fake serial number, and especially the creed and serial photo.

Here's the accepted Fake Coach Serial Numbers list - you may want to refer to it before buying any more "Coaches". Send the link to Tradesy with your complaint.

And ask here BEFORE you buy.

Thank you!! I cancelled my order. I will definitely post here BEFORE ordering a coach bag next time. Thanks again for your help!!

Hello, I just bought this off Ebay & I can't help but think this purse is a knock off. Could someone by chance take a look at it for me? Thanks so much!

Why do you think it's fake? It's fine.
Thank you so much for taking the time to ease my paranoia! I began to question its authenticity when I started looking at completed Ebay listings of the same purse & their reviews. I noticed a few sellers had received multiple complaints/bad feedback from buyers stating they had received counterfeits of the same style of purse that I had just bought ...So I figured I bought one of those "well faked" styles..Not to mention just about every advertisement for that purse comes from private international seller.
Next time I'll remember to ask for your expertise before I buy it & spare myself the worry..Silly me! Thanks so much! The service you guys provide is priceless, and I truly appreciate it!

Please authenticate, if there is enough info via the photos. Also what is it?! TIA!!

it's authentic. It's a scout bag #9890 from the early 90s.

That must have taken a lot of sleuthing. I'm curious as to whether those sellers deserved that bad feedback. Would you mind posting a few?

In the future when asking for authentications for items you buy on ebay, it is helpful to post a link to the listing and the seller's name. Often we have experience with the seller and that can add even more assurance, and there might be more photos or something in the description that would be helpful.

Small Coach Crossbody (I don't know the style or name)

Comments: Tried several angles to get the creed - this one was the best. The creed is stamped on the slip in pocket inside which is attached. Not sure if the outside pocket is the front or the back. If this is genuine any info is appreciated.
