I really appreciate your thoroughness in authenticating! I tried again to get a straight on photo, I hope this helps? The embossing is really faint and hard to see, I dont think I can get another photo better than this. Thanks!!

Hi! I just bought a preloved small Faye and saw the serial number differs from my other Chloe bags. It has the letter ‘C’ instead of only numbers. The seller told me she is a former Chloe employee and bought it at one of their private sales. Does anyone know if that’s the reason this serial number is like this?

hi - I dont know anyone who works at Chloe or has bought from a SA private sale. We can authenticate based on the whole bag but not the code addition, It does fit with other brands doing this though

I have no reason to doubt the sellers story and the bag looks like others this type I could find online only a bit more worn (there are one or two on Vestiaire at the moment), but if you have the time it would be really nice if you would see if you could Authenticate the bag.

Colour: I don’t know the official name but I would say it’s metallic gold/bronze with beige strap
Store:Bought it preloved from a former Chloe SA
Reference: this is a similar bag on VC Faye small VC
Concerns: the date code ends with the letter ‘C’ instead of a number and the hardware is all-gold. I’ve found an older post here from somebody who bought a all-gold hardware Faye in the past but they are appearing to be very rare. Again, when it was originally bought at an employee sale this might be just alright.

I dont see it often enough, so i can only go off the rest of the bag, but i have seen other brands with these edits, i have one myself from another brand.

Hi, I have noticed that one of the handles on the bag that I've posted seems to have some residual clear glue on it. Has anyone experienced this before on such a high quality bag? I also followed the qr code on the front of the paper tag. It took me to some text which matched some of the numbers on the back of the tag. I'm wondering if this is what I should expect from the qr code? Thank you!

hi, Did you buy this one, can you add more photos of:
the Chloe engraved on the X on the handles
the other side of this X with the screw
underneath the flap where the ring and 2 metal tabs are
the toggles hanging off the front - the screws in there too.
the long strap - holes and nibs

I guess it ended up on the real real b\c of the glue
