Please note:
In order to see all the fine details, all required pictures (and especially that of the serial sticker) need to be in high resolution. They need to be forward facing, crisp, up close and non-flash. This is imperative for newer series bags. So when I request an (extremely) up close, sharp and flash/glare free picture of the serial sticker, I mean at least something like this (the sharper, the better):

Bag looks fine to me and though the authenticity of the bag is always in the bag itself, I see nothing wrong with the receipt holder either. If you're still concerned about the authenticity, maybe reach out to a paid authentication service for a second opinion in order to ease your mind. Fashionphile also has a great return policy if you're not 100% about your purchase.

Regarding your repair question:
Chanel's repair and refurbishment policy since October 2015: bags over 5 years old won't be eligible for refinishing and refurbishment. If they are less than 5 years old they are eligible for the aforementioned services, but you must provide proof of purchase (must be from an authorized Chanel retailer). Chanel will still do hardware (not leather) repairs (broken chains, clasps, locks etc.) on bags older than 5 years.

Hi,

First post on TPF and my first Chanel purchase.

Purchased on Vestiaire but I’ve read some horror stories of them sending out fake items so any knowledge would be appreciated.

I just want to be 200% sure that’s its authentic before I take the tags off and enjoy it!
Any light anyone can shed would be really helpful as I’ve tried to read up online but can’t find much information apart from counting stitches.
