If you do not have an online link and are just attaching photos, you must be the one taking the photos of the bag. Include a photo of the bag in front of your username displayed in the black menu bar of the TPF screen, to showcase you have the item in your possession. The backdrop must showcase you logged into TPF. Example here.

We are not trying to make you jump thru hoops, we have our reasons....hope this explains.:cool: See example below-with screen name in the background.

Just to follow-up on gail13's note here...
I'm sorry it's a pain.
But on the bright side, a short while ago, this thread did not authenticate any orphan photos at all, nor did it authenticate ended or closed / sold listings.

In an effort to try my best to help I do want to do the above but I need your help/cooperation to make sure you took the photos and they weren't sent to you by the seller, or taken from Craigslist, etc. (there was a post that sort of explained it somewhere on why).

I guess you can see it as - it's very hard for us to authenticate orphan pictures, but if you really, REALLY want to, then please add that shot.

Listing number: none
Who took pictures: me
Seller: it was bought on ebay but a long time ago that's why I don't remember the name of the seller
Link: none ( bought on eBay 3 years ago)
Comments: please help me to authenticate this bag. Thank you so much guys!:)

Hi experts, I am pretty new to the forum and Chanel purchases. There is a bag I saw on eBay that I would like to get it authenticated, but the seller covered some digits of the hologram sticker (showing only the first 2 digits) and said that the number will not be displayed before I order. Is it possible to authenticate in this case?

It is possible, but I would try to have the seller send you the number via private email so that you can include it. Please take a look at the other form and content requirements mentioned in the first two posts of this thread.
