Hi! I know you don't authenticate 20 series but I just wanted to confirm with you that this bag looks suspicious as the date code looks off/in correct? This seller usually has authentic Chanel bags but they are usually vintage or older. This one looks off to me.

I trust Fashionphile to do the right thing if presented with reliable evidence that they sold a fake. For me, that is enough reassurance to purchase with them. So I do recommend them as a recommended reseller. That is entirely different from the very, very few sellers I trust to not sell a fake and who have never sold a fake. I know that when FP ends up with a fake, it's never intentional.

This is the thread you are looking for. For peace of mind you should always get a bag authenticated if it comes from anyplace other than a Chanel boutique.

I bought a Chanel shopper tote, but I believe that it's fake - the buyer guaranteed authenticity, but I may have to return it. Can anyone tell from these pictures if it's fake. To me, the placement of the CC is a red flag as it's uneven on the bottom or the Cs. Are the GSTs made in France or Italy? All the ones I see are made in Italy. Can someone verify it's fake or does it have the chance to be real? thanks!

I think you meant the serial number so I edited it above
