Hi- Welcome to TPF. Our authenticator prefers not to authenticate 17+ series classics in part due to all the superfakes on the market. She may however be able to tell you if this is def fake with the appropriate pics. Having said that, I see you are a new TPF'er-you may want to visit the Ebay buying and Chanel repair threads to see if this is an undertaking you want to pursue.

Re the pockets, it is not disintegration but rather it was in a humid climate and the paint inside the pockets stuck to each other over time
