The bag in the photos is authentic despite the intentional censoring of a few of the numbers on the hologram sticker

The bag in the photos is authentic

IMO, asking about where the bag was purchased isn't a good indication because 1) people don't always tell the truth, and 2) the best and only proof of the bag's authenticity is the bag itself. No receipts, cards, boxes, or any other backstory will help in authenticity. The bag doesn't lie. ;)

This bag gives me pause and I don't feel comfortable authenticating it. There are a few red flags.

^^ my pleasure. I'm rarely on TPF but do try to check here every once in a while during the long spurts when I am on.

I figure colourful_belle needs a life too... based on the number of requests that are on here, I'm not sure if it's humanely possible for one person to respond to all of them

Please help me with this wallet.

Although Vestaire Collective claims to have "expert authenticators," I've read on TPF about fakes that were sold and authentic items that were deemed as fake. :( This makes me nervous.
