History of the bag: He purchased it in Los Angeles from a Chanel store.
Comments: The bag and chain are super light. The bag you can squish it easily. The quilting on the back doesn't match up.

He did not purchase them from a Chanel store. Another fake, normally this thread will only answer authenticity questions about live sale listings, but I didn't want you to purchase any fakes from your boss. Best of luck!

The seller does not have any feedback history so you should ask them to sign a piece of paper with your name and today's date next to the front, side and bottom views of the bag, the Chanel Made in stamp, the backplate, the hologram sticker, the engraving on the snap button closure and the number side of the authenticity card to ensure that the bag is in their possession. When you receive the pictures please repost with the eBay link.

Aww, so sorry and you're very welcome! You could post about private items since there are a few members here who would feel confident enough to let you know their thoughts... but the regular authenticator(s) will likely bypass the request. I hope your boss wasn't "taken!"
