Brilliant, thank you so much! While I absolutely love bags, this is actually my first Chanel :-) next one (might leave it til my 40th next year) will hopefully be brand new, but for now vintage is all good for me :-) Thank you again!

-I can't fully make out the hologram but the bag is from the period of 1986 - 1991 so is a vintage bag.
I'm not sure about the S mark I do know that another designer - "Hermes" would mark bags with codes of some sort when the bag was sold to one of their employees or if a bag that had been ordered were left unsold and then sold on to an employee.
Also could have been marked by a second hand shop ( some shops mark with an S items that are to be reduced in price at the cash desk)._
