Hi ladies, I got 2 brooches from a seller on etsy recently, they were described as vintage items but look brand new to me, I wasn't suspecting their authenticity until I found one of the back stamp sign of the brooch very blurry and hard to see. The price wasnt cheap same as authentic ones, and the seller has good feedback history. Please take a look for me, thanks!

As per posts 1 & 2 due to the difficulty in authenticating sunglasses online the regular authenticators don't authenticate them. Sorry.

Yes it can happen that someone gets missed. Don't take it personally. This can be because there are not enough photos for authentication of the bag or because the regular expert authenticators are not about. The expert authenticators volunteer their time to help out on this thread and recently there have not been many about . Other TPFers have been chipping in when and where possible.
You may want to try a third party authentication service for a small fee if you find the bag of your dreams and there is no answer here - http://www.etincelerauthentications.com or authenticate4u.com

hi ladies.. need some help here. i wanted to pruchase this bag and this person dont know the age and no receipt but tell me its vintage. so how can one tell its vintage when i dont have the proof and year or purchase? and she say she has the authenticity card. does it mean as long as the authencity card matches the hologram stick its is authentic?

Dear authenticators, i have a doubt on a chanel GST, my friend want to sell it to me. I have noticed it's fake. But she said that the seller has bought it straight from Chanel Morocco & has the original receipt of it!

I really need second opinion to make my friend convinced. I can't stand to look my friend beeing foolish like that! And the most pathetic part, we have visited Chanel boutique nearby and she realized the differences of them. But after it, she met the seller of the bag and look at the original receipt, and she fell into it again! She believes that this GST bag 100% authentic, just because it has an original receipt!

Anyway, Ihave attached pictures, please take a look at it if you please. I really really need your help to help my friend here!

History of the bag: my friend bought it from Fenny last year, and now she want to sell it to me.
Comments: there's some differences between her bag and other GST. The leather feel so dry, and the handle is lighter than other's GST. And the CHANEL engrave, hologram, authenticity card also looks off.

I'm not an expert but I would like to say that I bought a mini 2.55 Chanel of Deedee a few month ago and I had it authenticated here in tpf. And judging by your photos, the bag is in my oppinion authentic (but remember I'm not an expert!!)

Vintage Heirloom has some good videos about buying vintage Chanel on youtube. You should check them out!

Hi again....I don't think this bag is a fake, for what it's worth. I remember watching that auction...I am not an expert but I own several vintage Chanel. For your own piece of mind you should consider having it professionally authenticated.
