Hi, Addy:

I was looking at the Eden totes on ebay and did a cross-check on the internet. I came across this:

http://www.ioffer.com/i/97230017

From the transacton logs I can tell that the seller is probably from out of the country who speaks a broken English. She/he is also selling a bunch of those totes and I believe they are fake. The ironic part is that the bags are claimed to be authentic and made in Italy, just like those ones on ebay.

I wonder why this ioffer.com site is still operational.

Thanks,

Welcome to the Purse Forum!

Need closer pics of interior Burberry stamp, front of paper tag, pics of plastic piece, MADE IN and serial number stamps

Addy, thanks for responding to me.

The seller won't send me any pictures. Just tell me to look at his/her feedback. Won't even tell me if the purse was purchased from the outlets. I really like the purse. If there wasn't a 15% restocking fee, I would buy it and take the pictures myself. :( Is it normal for a seller to do this?

By the way, the seller says the other side of the MADE IN tag says CNPANSIMIPAN. He couldn't get a clear pic of it (the 4th pic). Thanks again!

Seller has multiples of the same bag, the LV child shoes look wrong, lots of other "designer" goods - all red flags for me.

I stay away from iOffer which I like to call the land of fakes.

I am always suspicious of Burberry with plastic on the handles - I have never seen any bags in the boutiques, high-end department stores or at the outlets with plastic on the handles. Even my charge-send bags have never had plastic on the handles.

Anyone who has purchased like this, please say so...

The Eden is widely available at outlets.

A lot of Burberry items are made in China - it doesn't seem to reflect in terms of the price they are set at IMO
