Hello,

I just purchased this bag from eBay, but I have a nagging suspicion that it might be fake . Could someone please authenticate it for me? Thank you.

Can you post pictures of the lock and the key? Do the three studs that hold the handle to the purse have the Burberry logo engraved on them? Can you tell me the zipper pull brand? There's no red flags so far for me from the pics you posted but I just want to make sure. :)

Each auction is different. Some are real, some are fake. It's best to post each one separately so the people who know them can give their opinion on them.

I've seen earmuffs at Nordstrom Rack, Bloomingdales, and the outlet for less than the retail store. Black Friday is right around the corner so there are usually sales for it too. Nordstrom has great sales. Saks does too when you catch it at the right time. So yup, plenty of places with lower than retail price for authentic earmuffs. Good luck! :)

Hello, Everyone! I have a Burberry Quilted Wallet that is tan nylon with tan patent leather trim. It is made in China. Everything looks good on it, but i can't find a serial number. Is it possible that this model doesn't have one? Thanks!

Wallets, from my experience, tend to not have serial numbers. The purses do, but the wallets usually not.

The Made in Italy stamp looks a little sloppy but it might just be the way the picture was taken. Can you ask the seller for a better picture of that stamp as well as for the button snap brand. I can't seem to make it out very well.

Here are some more pics. The three studs do have the engraved Burberry Knight. I'm not quite sure what you mean by the zipper pull brand, but I included a picture of the zipper located on the outside of the bag.

The reason I suspected this was a fake was because the interior Burberry stamp with the Knight logo seems crooked. Is this common? Also, the interior lining is plain, whereas other Manor bags I have seen had a lining with a check pattern (such as the one in this auction). Does this just mean that Burberry is less consistent about the production of certain bags? I've noticed that the location of "MADE IN" tags seems to vary between some Manor bags.

I asked for more photos. She said the clasp was hard for her to get close enough to photograph but it says Italy Fiocchi on it. What I'm confused about it that the stamp in her photo looks like it's gold colored but a friend of mine has one that is silver colored. Now, which one, if any, or real or fake. My friends clasp is also stamped Italy Fiocchi. But like I said her stamp color is silver where this one on Ebay is gold. Here's a photo of my friends stamp in silver - btw, my camera sucks!

Zipper pull brand is the little head that's attached to the zipper teeth. It's where the pull attaches onto it. Burberry tends to use the same handful zipper pull brands for their purses.

I have two manor bags. One I got from the outlet and that stamp is a little crooked. The retail one I got isn't. This might be an outlet item. As for the lining and placement of the Made in Italy tag, yup, Burberry didn't quite stay consistent for this purse. Some linings are solid, some have the checked pattern. I think it has to do with when they were produced. Kind of like the first batch they made had solid linings. Then the second batch had checked linings. The word "batch" makes it sounds like they're cooking Burberry purses. :p The proper word I'm looking for is escaping me right now.

Still no red flags for me on this one. The lock--the little logo slides up and down on the lock to reveal the key hole, right?

Italy Fiocchi on the snap sounds right. Oh! The logo picture where it seems gold--I think that may just be how the photo came out. It's supposed to be silver. But see how the black part has a gold overtone to it also? I thought it was just bad lighting in the picture. Please check with the seller that it is silver. It should be silver. :)
