Can you ask the seller of the coat for a close up picture of a button? I don't know scarves--I think Addy's the pro on that one.

I think metallic scarves are fun. Kind of spruces up an outfit. And not very many people tend to have them. It's not like it's majorly shiny, but a nice shimmer to it so I like it. Their retail sale is due soon. I always see shimmer scarves on sale at the retail store.
