Hi ladies,

I bought a trench off ebay from a trustworthy-looking seller, but when it arrived today, it set off some alarm bells in my head. While I'm not familiar with Burberry in particular, the materials and workmanship just don't seem to be up to premier designer standard. There are quite a few loose threads and the stitching is not perfect in a lot of places. The lining pattern is also not perfectly aligned.

The trench was brand new with tags, and it looks like it was bought in HK. I've been in contact with the seller and am fairly comfortable that she was selling in good faith. (It was an unwanted present.) I was wondering if you'd be able to help authenticate the item based on the listing, and also my additional photos below? Many thanks in advance. Need made in tag front and back, a better shot of the Burberry tag.

Does anyone else know about the hole punch on Burberry bags? I imagine it is sale related, but does anyone else know more?

I would go through paypal, open a dispute, and claim, "item not as described" return the item with tracking when paypal says.

Thank you for the kind advice. In your experience, does it matter whether I go through the disputes process via Paypal or via eBay? Or are they sort of connected anyway?
