Authenticate This BOTTEGA VENETA

I bought this bag on Italy Station and all the details about it look right, but it just doesn’t smell like leather and I’m having doubts. Can someone help me out please?

The Belly (in most likely Signal Blue or Electrique) is authentic, IMO.

Dear authenticators,

Please kindly authenticate this old Veneta hobo, large size.

I already purchased it from an individual seller on a domestic platform in my country.

What worries me is that the leather doesn’t have the smooth shiny finish of more “regular” Venetas.

Item Name: Bottega Veneta, large Veneta hobo. Light brown with yellow stitching.

Comments: no mirror or dustbag

The Large Veneta in Naturale is authentic, IMO. It was the “special” Veneta done for that season (about 20 years old) and I think it was done in cervo leather. The authenticity tag is consistent with the age of the bag.

I am looking for some information on this Bottega Veneta bag. There are know tags in the purse.

The vintage Bottega bag in Marco Polo material is authentic, IMO. It’s from probably the early 1990s.

The Large Veneta in Naturale is authentic, IMO. It was the “special” Veneta done for that season (about 20 years old) and I think it was done in cervo leather. The authenticity tag is consistent with the age of the bag.

Hi All

I just purchased the large size North South tote off of vestiare which is currently in the mail. I do have some concerns now that I am checking more online and I dont see any record of the bag coming in burgundy and also all the north south totes have suede lining on the bottega site, while the one on order seems like regular leather? Did they change the lining of the bag recently to suede?
