It looks okay in one of the photos but I would really prefer to see a crisper picture of the authenticity tag to be sure.

Missing required photos: closeup of heatstamp and authenticity tag.
Need clear, crisp, close-up photos of heatstamp and both sides of the authenticity tag.
I’m not well-versed with the vintage stuff, but it looks authentic from what I can see. @indiaink might be able to offer a second opinion. The material looks like marcopolo fabric and it’s probably 30-40 years old.
Need to see clear, close-up photos of both sides of the authenticity tag as well as any Bottega Veneta imprint if there is one.
Unfortunately, I am unable to authenticate items without authenticity tags. The items without are just too easy to fake.
Hi, bought this bag, is meant to be 1980’s Bottega but shows no age. Stupidly bought off a well know trusted site and didn’t get authenticated first. Any body able to help on confirming if it’s authentic or not and if not is there a recommended Authenticator I can use to go back to dispute the purchase. Thanks in advance.

I believe this is authentic. It was most likely an exclusive to Bergdorf Goodman at the time. Bottega has done a few exclusive bags for BG Over the years. The fact that it show little wear is a testament to the quality of vintage BV.
The Medium Veneta in what looks like Ebano is authentic, IMO. It doesn’t look dark enough to be Espresso, so if it is in fact Ebano, then it’s from 2015.
Thank you for replying @V0N1B2 It’s not so much wear, it has no age, it smells new, the label is bright white and glue holding on tightly. The part that is making me question it most are the poorly applied labels, the Bergdorff Goodman has been glued on not straight or centralised and the Bottega stamp is also applied very randomly and has a partially applied stamp (not won or chipped off, it looks like when applied part of the stamp never caught). With both BG and BV standing for quality the label application seems very sloppy and also brand new. Are you able to, or do you know of an Authenticator I can send it to? Many thanks
