The star stamp used to mean it was sold to an employee - I assume it’s still the same.
Is there an authenticity tag anywhere inside the bag?

I bought this which arrived today.
The interior leather seems stiff not like what I used to see. The back of the zipper head is a bow tie logo not “ri ri M4”. I have attached additional pictures. Is this authentic? Is it an outlet item? Thanks a lot.

Without the heatstamp, I can’t say for sure.
The zipper is actually a butterfly, and BV hasn’t used riri zippers for about 7-8 years.
The lining is pigskin, which is why I think it might be a bit stiff - they changed the lining around 2017. Although, because it’s not fresh from the boutique, you can never really know if the previous owner(s) treated the lining or tried to clean it and it was left feeling stiff. There have been a lot of changes to the linings of BV bags over the years. My 2010 Roma has very stiff lining, and I have some bags with soft velour-like suede.
I don’t think the colour is Watteau, I think it looks more like Mallow.

Hello! I am new here and I would like to ask your opinion on this preloved Campana Medium: Pics here
I already saw it in the preloved store, the leather feels really soft, however I didn’t pay much attention to the tag that is supposed to be inside the inner pocket (didn’t really look for it and when looking quickly inside I did not see it). Also from what year do you think this could be? Many thanks!

The year and colour will be written on the tag sewn into the interior pocket. Once we see that, we can determine the authenticity. The colour looks like Noce from 2007/2008 maybe.

@von1B2 I called my local boutique about the color using the ID number. The SA told me it is in deed color Mallow. You are so knowledgeable on BV. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise.
