The Large Nero Veneta from 2010 looks authentic to me. The trim is quite worn, even for a bag this age. Some Venetas didn’t have matching riri zippers on the inside pocket, but it is also possible that it was replaced at some point.

This is authentic. The material was known as "marco polo", which is a coated canvas.

Good morning! I'm hoping for help with a Bottega Veneta Roma-small black-that I just purchased and received from Fashionphile.

This is my first Bottega so I really have no experience with judging for myself regarding feel. I read countless reviews of experiences with Fashionphile and have googled the bag to the end of the internet before purchasing & would think it would be authentic, but the adjustment for the back handle on the left side appears to not have been "poked" out and I don't know if that's a normal occurrence for the brand. All of the other hole adjustments were poked out.

Please let me know if my photos are unclear or if I should send more!

This is an authentic small Roma. Are the holes the same number on the straps? It appears perhaps the previous owner started to add a hole and became frightened and stopped; but of course, the mark has already been made. Many BV zippers do not have a mark on the reverse side.

Thank you! Good to know about the zippers. Yes, the holes are the same number on all of the straps (2 on each)-just this one that wasn't fully punched out.
