thanks in advance

salma12, I concur. This looks exactly like the fake that I purchased weeks ago! From what little you are shown, note the transparency of the label, the looseness and sloppiness of the weave, and compare this to what I believe is the authentic Sloane bag: http://cgi.ebay.com/BOTTEGA-VENETA-...ryZ63852QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

From what I have read and been told, this is one of the most counterfeited BV bags. I have handled the real one in Neiman Marcus, and it is a great bag, but this one is definitely fake. Also note the feedback of this seller. DANGER, DANGER, DANGER!!! Great catch, pretwick and boxermom!

I agree with everyone here. Definitely a fake. Some things to notice:

1) Wrong code, as prestwick and boxermom have mentioned.
2) The magnetic circle protrudes too much, instead of being neatly folded into and stitched/embedded into the background nappa
3) The font on the heatstamp is not clean and it's like a bolder font!
4) Notice the canvas on the interior pocket where the tag is. The canvas is coarse, like linen. Many fake bags have this linen-like pocket texture, instead of a more smooth canvas texture that has a slight sheen
5) The ink on the tag is smudging off!
6) You will never see the handle/strap of the sloane "dip inwards" without puffing up like a concave shape like you see in the last photo. One reason for this is that the sloane has a thicker nappa, nappa umbria, and the handles are padded as well, so you'll notice a slight "puff" of the interciatto which will never invert on the handles

Guys, I saved a surch for new BVs popping up listed in the EU. All (I mean ALL) the sloanes listed in Germany or having the word tasche (bag) in the description are FAKES. And there's a new one almost every day...I gave up being angry about it, just feel sorry for the people buying those...

^^ I'm with C_24 on the Campanas - but does anyone know what the 7661 colour code for the "butterscotch" one would be? Aren't the browns the 2000 numbers? Or is that perhaps moutarde or something else not considered brown at all?
