I'm sorry that I can't really opine about this one. I'm not sure about some of the details (some seem not quite right to me), but I'm not that experienced with anything that is before the mid-2000s. There are some vintage bags that have a characteristic look, though--and this isn't one of them. But, I hope someone with more vintage knowledge will opine for you.

Hi, Mid-! This bag looks authentic except the zipper pulls may have been replaced. They should be gunmetal rectangles with Bottega Veneta engraved on them, I think. The price is ambitious; however the leather looks nice. Wear on this bag would show up first along the edges of the shoulder strap/hand strap. It would be great if bag comes with original dustbag and the newer one shown in first picture! Good luck & nice to hear from you!

Or the zipper pulls should be black leather and rectangular. About the size of the zipper pull for an inside pocket. Certainly not as huge as the ones in the auction :smile1:

Thank you, Miss_FancyBags, for more insight. The seller says that the zipper pulls have not been replaced since the original purchase at the boutique. Pondering continues...

After some additional research, I think it is possible that the zipper pulls are original and my opinion is that this bag is authentic. Thanks, mid-, for asking about this bag!
